Meditate at school?

To meditate at school could be a good idea. In my opinion, every body needs to meditate for a short time, to do things well. As we need to do a lot of things well in school, I think that it is necessary to have time to meditate.
It may help us to do things better. I have never heard this name or anything about it, but I think the David Lynch Foundation´s objective is being more productive and in a way, enjoyable. I don’t like it a lot but it could open our eyes to another way of teaching.
Yes, I would like to be given time to meditate in class, because it´s a good way to forget the stress, to have a healthy life and to improve the marks of the pupils by concentrating. However, I think that doing this a lot of people would work less because if you were ten minutes with your eyes closed it would be very difficult to come back to study and to pay attention (in my case I would probably be thinking about sleeping all the time).
I think that David Lynch try to explain how can stress affect to our life by for example high blood pressure, clinical depression, agressive attitudes...In fact, it´s demonstrated that stress is one of the reasons of violence, crimes...Because of it, he shows that a simple way to reduce it, is the Transcendental Meditation technique (even our health can improve). It´s very important the education of course because with this technique, children will have a peaceful future and society too.
I had heared something about him but I didn´t now that he was the director of Twin Peaks, a very famous and strange show. The truth is that I haven´t watched any of his films, maybe because I was a child when he had succes with his works.
